New Door Styles and Finishes from Diamond Cabinetry for 2018
I am always excited for new introductions from our cabinet lines. These new additions result from changes in trends and markets, consumer demand and/or designer requests. I'm like a kid at Christmas when my new samples arrive. This year we added two new door styles, two dark stains and a light textured laminate to our collection of finishes. Read on to learn about the new doors and finishes available from Diamond Cabinetry for 2018.
First up we have two new door styles, Evans and Perkins. These two doors feature matching edge profiles and slab drawer fronts. The matching details allow us to effortlessly pair them within the same room or home. I might use the Perkins door in painted Maple on the kitchen perimeter and the Evans door in a wood stain on the island. Or a kitchen in one door style and adjacent washroom or built-ins in the other. These door styles have clean lines and classic style and are easily dressed up with the right hardware.
Evans is a full overlay, traditional raised-panel door with a solid wood center panel.

Perkins is a full overlay, contemporary flat panel door with a veneered center panel.
Diamond Cabinetry Perkins Maple with Buckskin Stain
Both are available in Cherry, Maple, Hickory and Oak.
Diamond also released two richly-finished dark wood stains. Kodiak and Grizzly are cool neutrals featuring deep browns with gray undertones. The rich stain draws out the natural beauty and variation in the woods grain. Both stains are available in Cherry, Maple, Alder, Rustic Alder, Hickory and Oak.
Finally, Diamond added a new, sleek Premium Laminate. Premium Laminates are a textured wood grain laminate with a tactile feel on the face and back of the doors and drawer fronts. Antler was designed to enhance the modern look of Diamonds Graniti door style. The new Antler finish has a vertical Beech wood grain appearance with tones ranging from warm whites to gray tans.
